Pre-Approval Acceptance

For credit scores less than 600 applicants must meet the following for acceptance in the pre-approval program:
  • Income
    • $9.25 per hour with full time employment
    • $1,600 per month with part time employment
  • Employment
    • Non-temporary, non-seasonal employment
    • One year on the job or a two year history of continuous employment
  • Credit History
    • Chapter 7 bankruptcies must be discharged
    • Chapter 13 bankruptcies require written authorization from the trustee
    • Only one bankruptcy or repossession
    • No repossessions during the last twelve months
      • Repos included in a bankruptcy are okay
    • Not currently in credit counseling

Non-Preapproval Acceptance

All applications are guaranteed to be accepted. Applicants that do not meet the requirements above can still be approved for new or used car financing. Each application for used car financing will be evaluated based on job stability, ability to repay the loan, and willingness to re-establish a good credit rating. Money down will also be considered.

Does AutoImprove provide loans for "for sale by owner" purchases?
No. AutoImprove is not a lender. Each loan application is processed by a local dealer that has the lenders and inventory in place to pre-approve nearly any credit cituation.

What type of vehicle can I buy?
The typical vehicle is sold via our service is a late model, low mileage, preowned automobile. Our dealers, however, stock abundant inventory so you will have plenty to choose from.
